    hiyuzu is an online self-care and lifestyle store. Our mission is to connect you with our favorite goods and companies.  

    You’re picky and you know it.

    You want products that are fresh, genuine, and effective. And you want them to be fairly priced, carefully vetted, and promptly shipped, too. You love shopping small, especially on a website that's easy to use with detailed descriptions and ingredient lists.

    Too much to ask? Not at all. Our equally picky team is happy to help.  

    our story

    Before founding hiyuzu, we learned the ins and outs of the Asian skincare industry in the US, including the best in Korean and Japanese beauty.

    We sourced, tested, and purchased products. We restocked shelves, curated in-store displays, and shipped our merchandise to doorsteps nationwide. And we built close relationships with clients and brands both on the floor and online. Together, we have over two decades combined experience doing what we do. 

    We're excited to share the products we use and our pickiest picks with you. 

    about our name

    We love yuzu, the Asian citrus fruit that smells like grapefruit mixed with orange. It tastes slightly tart, a little sweet, fresh, and light. Yuzu also happens to be our COO (Chief Opurrating Officer). She supervises all team members (humans and other pets) and makes sure we stay on top of our to-do lists—from maintaining our stock of snack supplies and ensuring that all toys meet the highest quality standards, to implementing pet therapy-focused wellness initiatives.
